Here’s How To Throw The Perfect Hot Tub Party

A group of our friends own a timeshare property, and we recently decided to renovate it. One of the first things we did was browse TubHQ and get ourselves a brand new hot tub. After the renovations were finished, we got together at the vacation house and had ourselves a hot tub party. These are the tips we think anyone throwing a hot tub party should know:

Planning Ahead

It’s best to make sure that the hot tub is turned on long before the guests are expected to arrive. Nothing is worse than having to wait around for the water to heat up. You should also check if your hot tub is clean, or needs any type of servicing such as balancing pH levels. Make a checklist of all the things you need to do and get through them a day or two before your party is scheduled.

Plenty of Food and Drinks

Soaking in a hot tub can make you surprisingly hungry, so make sure there is plenty of food nearby. Also keep a variety of drinks near the hot tub in case anyone needs something refreshing to sip on. Staying hydrated is important, so don’t

Avoid glassware

Make sure that all the glasses and plates are made of plastic. Water is slippery and once someone breaks a glass in the hot tub you can consider the party over. It’s better to stay on the safe side, as broken glass is a safety hazard and can damage your hot tub as well.

How Big Should Your Party Be?

Always make sure to restrict your party to the number of recommended people who can be in the hot tub. If you have a pool you may consider adding to your guest list, but no one should be left idling around while the rest of the party is enjoying a hot soak in the jacuzzi.

Don’t Forget To Bring Extra Towels

Everybody will remember to bring their bathing suit, but you’ll be surprised how many people forget to pack a towel to this type of party. A few extra towels aren’t that expensive, and will keep your guests happy.

Keeping The Hot Tub Clean

There is nothing worse than a dirty hot tub. Make sure everyone rinses off before getting into the hot tub, to keep any dirt from getting into the water. Also, keep the food away from the hot tub to avoid introducing bacteria into a hot, humid climate where it will multiply and create unsanitary conditions for you.

With these helpful tips you can have a fun time with your friends in a hot tub, regardless of the size of your party. Also make sure that no one gets too drunk while in the hot tub because losing consciousness while in the water can quickly lead to drowning. It’s better to be safe than sorry, and there are many ways to have fun without the need of alcoholic beverages.
